Physical presence. Real land. Good people. No CV required — just show up with honest energy and willingness to get your hands dirty.
Who we are
Tara Verde is a small property in the Alentejo — campo life, olive trees, cork oaks, and a growing community of people who don't fit the standard mould. We work, cook, build, host ceremonies, and figure things out together.
We're not a hostel. We're not a co-working space. We're closer to a small crew building something real, slowly, in one of the most beautiful corners of Europe.
What we care about
- You treat people with respect
- You do what you say you'll do
- You don't need a manual for every small thing
- You're physically present — this is field work, not remote
- Your past is yours; your energy is what matters here
Open positions
Caretaker / Land steward
Keep an eye on the property when the crew is away. Basic maintenance, watering, checking on things. In exchange: a place to stay, food from the land, and real quiet.
Event support
Help prepare and run gatherings — cacao ceremonies, music nights, workshops. Setup, hosting, breakdown. If you know sound, plants, or cooking, bring it.
Maintenance & build projects
We're fixing up structures, building small things, improving the land. If you have skills — plumbing, wood, electrical, earthworks — we have work and a fair day rate.
Garden & land work
Growing food, composting, general campo upkeep. No experience needed if you're patient and curious. We'll teach what we know.
